Cody Simpson feels that his romance with Miley Cyrus is beyond a love song. And now, it is.
The Australian singer dropped his latest single "Golden Things" on Friday - and it is a tribute to his new girlfriend. "Crystal Dream / Callie Queen," he croons on the track for about four minutes. "Radiant hands / vibrant sand / I'm surprised / This is the golden thing that she has got."
Elsewhere, Simpson indicates that his tornado romance was rather unpredictable. "He let me in," he belts out. "I'm surprised."
Need more proof is it about the hit Cyrus? Well, the video for the track of the song is a close-up of a woman with a beach, golden locks, near the identical image of a superstar.
After the release of the song, the "Slide Away" singer stepped onto social media to promote her love. As she captioned an Instagram story of the track, "MY HEART."
Of course, the pair has been teasing "Golden Thing" for some time, with Cyrus also writing "DROP IT BABY" before release. It is not that this is the first time he has serenaded his man. While hospitalized with tonsillitis, she was treated to a romantic performance by Simpson. "Suddenly I am feeling much better," Cyrus captioned the video. "This sweeeeeet guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeeetest song he just wrote for me."
