Madonna has dropped her first performance at the London Palladium which was to launch the first performance of her Madame X residency in the UK.
The 61-year-old music symbol Madonna was expected to perform on Monday, January 27, with a further 14 evenings at the venue, however fans have supposedly gotten a message affirming that refunds for the show have been given, as per The Independent Report.
This isn't the main Madame X show Madonna has needed to pull out from – she as of late dropped a gig in Lisbon only more than two hours before she was expected in front of an audience.
A statement from Madonna in a message sent to fans contain: “I am deeply sorry that I have to cancel my concert scheduled for Monday January 27 in London.
“Under doctor’s guidance, I have been told to rest for a few days.
“As you all know I have injuries that have plagued me since the beginning of the tour but I must always listen to my body and put my health first.”
She continued: “The last thing I want to do is disappoint my fans or compromise the integrity of my show. So I will keep going until I cannot.
Fans are sharing the news of her cancellation on twitter and are hoping that she wll be alright soon and will perform again with more power.
Back in November, the star needed to drop progressively world visit performances after she was advised to 'take rest' from performing by doctors. Dropping shows over in the US in Boston, Madonna said she was in 'overpowering agony' from numerous wounds.
